2010 A Cappella Community Awards
Calling all CV fans everywhere! Clearly Vocal has been nominated for not one, but two (2) ACAs. The ACAs, or A Cappella Community Awards, are the People’s Choice Awards of the contemporary a cappella universe (of America). Clearly Vocal has been nominated for both Favorite Newcomer – Group and Favorite Contemporary A Cappella League Group.
Here’s where you come in: Go to CASA.org (The Contemporary A Cappella Society) before May 15, register to become a member, and vote for Clearly Vocal. And that’s not all…you can get $5 off your CASA membership through May 15 by entering the code “ICCA2010CASA” when you register. Check out all the benefits of becoming a CASA member, including a free download of the compilation album Sing Six. So, if you are so inclined, go register and vote for Clearly Vocal. Then check out the Mouth Off Show for a new episode featuring several fellow ACA-nominated groups.

Denton Jazz Fest 2010
Come see us this Saturday, April 24, at the Denton Arts & Jazz Festival, in Denton, Texas. Clearly Vocal will perform at 5 P.M. on the Celebration Stage on the north side of Quakertown Park. Hope to see you there!

East Texas A Cappella Celebration
6 P.M., Saturday, April 10, 2010
From Classical to Jazz, Barbershop to Gospel, area vocal groups of all sizes and genres come together to celebrate the beauty and magic of the human voice at the East Texas A Cappella Celebration. The free community concert will be held Saturday, April 10, 2010, at 6 P.M., in the Glenwood Church of Christ auditorium, at the corner of Rice and Hollytree, in Tyler.

LA/AF 2010
What a trip! The Los Angeles A Cappella Festival (LA/AF) was a huge success. John and I had so much fun, learned some crucial things, networked like crazy, ate some amazing Thai food, heard some inspiring groups and attended some very beneficial classes.
LA/AF was held on the campus of UCLA.
